Each year the Alumni raises funds to award scholarships to graduating Hallettsville HS students of African American descent. The awards go to two students with an expressed interest in college or trade school and they are awarded upon proof of enrollment. We have grown to present these awards every year now (as opposed to only the years we meet) and we are proud to announce that the awards have increased this year. Applications are taken in March through April annually. Listed below are recipients over the years.
