Dear Alumni & Ex-Students
It is that time again and everyone is excited about our upcoming school reunion to be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Kocian Building, 100 East 3rd St. Hallettsville, Texas 77964. All ex-students and alumni include any person who attended for any length of time schools in Hallettsville or Lavaca County who would like to continue fostering and promoting our African American culture.
The fee for our 2025 reunion banquet and dance will be $35 per person, which includes admissions to the banquet, dance and activities. Please submit your payment and the attached registration form by July 15, 2025 along with your annual dues ($10.00 a year) for 2024 and 2025 if you have not already paid your dues. Payment and/or fees should be made payable as follows: by money order, cashier check, Zelle (via your bank account to our alumni bank account), or personal check (which will serve as your receipt) and mailed to:

The cost of our 2023 reunion (picnic and scholarship) was $4246.00. The current balance in our alumni account is $895.00.
The banquet and dance will be from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. THe theme for our reunion this year is "My Boots on the Ground". The dress is Western attire.
We are excited and working hard to make this reunion as enjoyable and relaxing as our previous events. We know "education is the key," we will award two high school graduates a $1000.00 scholarship to assist them in furthering their education. The dues that we pay supports the scholarships that we give to deserving students.
We must maintain our heritage and we solicit your support in promoting our school reunion. Please reach out and contact former classmates, family members, and encourage them to attend this joyous occasion.
We also need your help in remembering our alumni members that are now resting in heaven since our August 12, 2023 reunion. If you know or remember someone, please give us their name, month, and year of transition.
We will be having a silent auction as a fundraiser to help with our scholarship fund. Instructions for bidding on the items will be in the area with the items you can bid on.
